From Roe to Dobbs: The End of Legal Abortion

This lecture traces the history of legal abortion from 1973 to the overturning of Roe with the 2022 Dobbs decision. It analyses the growth of the anti-abortion movement and discusses how antiabortion activism shaped abortion care, finally culminating in the recent Dobbs decision. It concludes with a discussion of the impact of Dobbs on women’s lives and health.
